Of ice pops and sunshine – a New Jersey family shoot

I first met this little girl when she was a newborn, and what fun it was to see her as a toddler and photograph her with her big brothers! I loved how they were sharing their ice pops with her, and how she just couldn’t get enough!

 

 

 

 

 

 

A lifestyle shoot with a spunky little princess.

I loved her little giggle, the sparkle in her eyes, and the way she held up two lemons to let me know that she was two. It was drizzling outside, so we stayed indoors for most of the shoot, but we did get to go outside for a few minutes and capture her walking her doll stroller.

 

 

 

 

 

 

A Chicago Baby

I love newborn shoots so much that I even do them when I’m on vacation! This little one was too cute with her little tuft of blond hair. Only 5 days old, she slept through most of the shoot, though she really liked clenching her little fists – I had to keep straightening out her tiny fingers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Popcorn, anyone?

Chagrin Falls in Northeast Ohio,  has a quaint little main street with the most adorable shops, including this vintage popcorn shoppe. I had to cross the street to get that shot, but a photographer does what a photographer has to do! Baby N. is wearing beautiful Freshly Picked Merci Moccasins – I love how they look on her feet!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Golden Hour and Bridges of Stone

As soon as I saw this bridge, I knew I would be doing a shoot there in the near future; it was straight out of a fairy tale! Golden hour is my favorite time to shoot, and it made these images even more magical. I love the the detail and body language in the image of the two kids on the bridge, and the one of the three of them is begging to be put on canvas!
